“ Listen, I was at this location last year around this same time. It was hectic. The staff seemed overwhelmed, disinterested and unhappy. The whole environment was chaotic. Today...Just Wow! A complete 180! The server-Joslyn-was AMAZING! Engaging, attentive, professional...I wanted to be there, with her as my server. I expressed how great the experience was to a leader-Trey. He was so gracious, professional, engaging and just a great face for this establishment. Then, Summer, the manager stopped by. She demonstrated where the trickle down of positive energy, professionalism and just great service comes from. This experience was such a breath of fresh air! I had not been here for a whole year based off the last experience, and I’m already looking forward to the next, based on this one. And the food was amazing! I got a cup of oatmeal, which comes with strawberries, blueberries & brown sugar. I added pecans, which ended up being a lot of whole pecans. They didn’t skimp! I also got bacon and the potatoes...listen, get the potatoes. Every. Single. Time. They are the best breakfast potatoes I’ve had in North Carolina...maybe anywhere. My husband got the Blah Blah Blah omelet-build your own w/ all veggies and turkey sausage, sourdough toast and breakfast potatoes-LISTEN! Get the potatoes!!! He also got their orange juice, which is fresh squeezed. Honestly, the food could’ve been mid and my review would’ve been good because of the stellar service. But, stellar service and amazing food...5 stars all the way. I’d give more if I could! my pictures aren’t beautiful because I hadn’t set out to review them. We’d already started digging in...Nom Nom! If you’ve not been, or just haven’t been in a while based on previous experience, give them another try! You will not be disappointed! ”
“ Our normal go to was closed, so we decided to try a new spot. We were pleasantly suprised by the service and quality of the food. The chef even worked with us for the perfect vegetarian burrito after learning that they were out of some of the ingredients. Highly recommend this little breakfast joint. ”
“ I’ve never given a Google review before, but this experience blew me away so much it deserved the shoutout. My partner and I decided to eat here for brunch while we were visiting family in Charlotte. It was a GREAT experience. The speed they seated us, took our order, and checked in with us throughout our experience was immaculate. About 20 minutes after we placed our order, a server told us they lost our order in the kitchen and to apologize for the wait they would cancel our bill. Our food was served less than 10 minutes after and it was one of the best pancakes and breakfast bowl we’ve had. We didn’t even need to tell our waitress when we wanted the box and bill. My partner and I were just talking to each other “we might need a box” and a waiter overheard us and returned with two boxes and our 0 bill. We ended up tipping extra anyways for the incredible service. We’ll definitely return again next time we’re in Charlotte. Ambiance and environment is a 10, food is a 10, and service 20/10 ”

The ambiance is warm and inviting — think sunlit windows, the aroma of fresh coffee, and a gentle hum of happy conversation. But the real magic happens on the plate. The cooks have it moving in the back because they handled two large parties and my wait on food was minimal at that and the freshest. The menu strikes a beautiful balance between classic favorites and creative twists. I ordered the country and the strawberry cinnamon rolls and I will 100% be back. You feel at home with the people here and the service. ”
“ Today was the first time I visited famous toastery my husband thought it was a little late in the day to go because they close at three and we got there around 2 o’clock. Even though it was almost time to close the service was amazing you could tell the team works together to make sure customers get what they need. OMG this food is so good. I don’t know who was in the kitchen today, but they rock. My husband and I got a famous toasty bowl and the shrimp and grits and a side of liver mush. I will most definitely be visiting here again ”
